Deck We invite you to step onto the 350 sq. ft. Trex deck and savor a cup of morning coffee or an afternoon cold beverage while gazing out at the majestic Lake Huron. Experience the nostalgic sounds of vehicles traversing US23, a thoroughfare that has connected communities for over a century. The deck is furnished with a dining table and six chairs (plus an additional four gray chairs) for your dining pleasure. The outdoor dining table is made of durable, non-breakable material, ideal for your feasts. Additionally, you will find sun loungers and a couple of wicker chairs accompanied by a small coffee table with cushions. We kindly ask that you return the cushions to the storage box on days of inclement weather and before your departure. Furthermore, a 60-quart cooler is conveniently located on the deck. Please refrain from removing this cooler from the deck; however, a smaller 18-can red cooler is available indoors for your beach outings. We appreciate your cooperation in brushing off any sand from the cooler after use, rather than rinsing it in the sink, as our property is not connected to the municipal sewer system.


Rules

Guest Policy: Our charming and nostalgic property has served as a beloved destination for nearly 75 years. With your continued support, we look forward to welcoming guests for many more years to come. It is important to note that we have a strict policy regarding the maximum occupancy limit of 10 guests, which is non-negotiable. This guideline is in place not only to ensure the safety of all guests but also to avoid administrative challenges for our residents. Our systems are not designed to efficiently accommodate an increased number of guests

Good Neighbor Clause – We would like to remind you that all units within this complex are privately owned, and not all units are available for rental. These properties serve as personal vacation homes, and we kindly ask you to respect the privacy of our homeowners as well as the surrounding areas during your stay. We also request that you maintain the cleanliness of the fire pits and beach areas by disposing of your waste appropriately. Additionally, we understand that some neighbors prefer guests to use the common grassy area for walking to and from the beach, rather than the sidewalk on the north side of the Condo Strip. While you are welcome to choose the path that best suits your needs, we ask you to please remain mindful and considerate of the preferences of others.

Smoking Policy: Please be advised that this is a smoke-free home. Smoking of any substance, including vaping, is strictly prohibited within side the unit. Should any evidence of smoking be discovered, you may incur a cleaning fee of up to $500.00. For those who wish to smoke, we kindly ask that you do so in designated areas: within your vehicle, outside on the deck, on the beach, in common areas, or on the parking lot side of the unit. We would appreciate your cooperation in properly disposing of cigarette butts. Please ensure that they are extinguished properly and placed in your vehicle or the dumpster located across the parking lot. It is crucial that items are extinguished correctly. Please note: You will be held responsible for any costs incurred in the event that your discarded butts cause a dumpster fire.

Pet Policy: We love animals but we chose to make this home pet-free due to many people being allergic. However, under special circumstances, we make a special provision - please inquire with Mari & Mike

Quiet Time: Our property is located in a residential community that, although a favored destination during the summer months, is also home to numerous residents. We kindly ask that you respect their privacy and right to a peaceful living environment. Specifically, we request that noise levels be minimized between the hours of 11 PM and 8 AM.

Breakage: We understand that accidents may occur during your stay. If you inadvertently damage any items, we kindly request that you contact us promptly by sending a brief TEXT (please include a photo). For minor damages, it is likely that no charges will be applied. However, in instances of more significant issues (such as a damaged TV screen), we would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss the associated costs with you prior to your departure to prevent any misunderstandings.
